Account Executive, Advertising Sales Are you an experienced account executive with advertising and sponsorship experience seeking new challenges? Are you a person who can champion independent goals but enjoy being part of a winning and dynamic team? Servicing and growing an existing client base, as Account Executive, Advertising Sales you will continuously increases sales revenue and maintains strong business relationships with top local, regional, and national companies. You will be accountable for acquiring new accounts through various strategies including generating leads, networking with key decision makers, and active researching. You will also be responsible for introducing and selling innovative marketing and brand awareness solutions to Kingston and area businesses while achieving aggressive revenue targets. You are a champion for the utmost in customer service and love being a member of a winning team. Responsibilities •Maximizes sales according to the given objectives by actively soliciting contacts, making strategic presentations to potential clients and by proposing relevant advertising solutions •Maintains day-to-day relationships with corporate advertising partners to ensure the prompt resolution of issues and concerns •Executes a busy schedule of meetings with local corporate advertising decision makers with a significant level of related phone work to support and increase advertising sales •Develops and maintains good business relationships with existing and potential clients and key people in the advertising industry •Utilizes industry connections and personal network to develop new business •Maximizes networking opportunities by continuously ensuring the company's presence in various industry events •Is constantly on the look-out for industry and clients trends, news and information •Participates actively in all sales meetings, brainstorm sessions and internal and external training seminars •Monitors competitors' activities •Maintains a high level of organization with all computer files, paperwork documentation and reports Qualifications •Understanding of the advertising and sponsorship landscape in the greater Kingston area is an asset (local, regional, national advertisers) •Minimum three (3) years of experience in advertising or sponsorship sales •Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or any other relevant field •Comfortable with initiating first contact with potential clients through cold calling •Solid negotiation and sales closing skills •Familiar with standard business computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,etc). •Knowledge of industry CRM software programs (i.e. Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Team Support, Infusionsoft, Pipeline CRM, etc.) a plus •Excellent time management and organizational skills. •Excellent communicator •Customer focused and results oriented •Valid G class driver's license and ability to be insured on company's corporate vehicles Apply Now Please apply no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 by sending your resume (PDF or Microsoft Word format) to application@associateskingston.ca All resumes received will be kept strictly confidential.
